Hi! 👋 We are Michelle Kwok and Vijay Krishnan. We built BlueBox because we’ve seen how much talent gets overlooked—and how much potential is unlocked when the right people connect.

As co-presidents of the Columbia Entrepreneurs Organization, exited founders, and VCs, we’ve been on every side of the equation. We’ve watched MBA students—brilliant former bankers, consultants, and operators—struggle to land in-semester or summer internships simply because they didn’t have the "in." At the same time, we’ve seen how much value startups and VCs gain when they find the right person at the right time—especially someone who shares their roots and values.

As founders and VCs, we have felt that magic ourselves: the mentor who opened doors, the hire who transformed a team, the peer who became a co-founder, the alum connection who turned into a successful investment. BlueBox was created to make those connections happen more often — and more easily.
